What is  Confirmation?  Confirmation is a place where middle school students can come to feel at home. It's a place of learning, experiencing, bible studying, serving and having fun!  Confirmation meets every Wednesday night starting September 23rd at 5:30pm.

The first fifteen minutes are a time of fellowship, usually inlucing a game of some sort where we can all rejoice in the Lord's name!  We share this large group time with YAPP, the high school youth group, so youth have a chance to interact with kids who are older then them as well.  It's important to remind middle school kids that church is still relevant in and after high school!

From 5:45-6:30 the confirmation students will be broken into "small grouops," comprised of 3-7 youth their age and gender, and an adult leader.  Here they will dive into the material or story that is being examined for that week.  These students will spend the course of their time in confirmation together, so they really get to know each other on a different level and bulid relationships in Christ.

To finish off the night, Confirmation will join YAPP for a time of worship.  Closing worship is led by SoulFull, a young adult music group filled with ninth grade students and young adults who have a passion for God's love!  Through this experience, youth will be able to see how their peers and those they look up to are continuing to live out their faith here at Salem.

Please join us for closing worship from 6:30-6:45.  This is open to all, so invite a friend!

If you have any questions at all or would like more information about our Confirmation program, please contact the church office or speak to Pastor Rollie or Sara Hudson at any time.  We would love to speak to you!
